I intend to write a post about the best day of my life: December 16th. Although, I'm a little too tired and a little too taken aback to write it out right now.
Being overwhelmed is a perfect way to describe the feelings after the arrival of a baby. It's not a bad overwhelmed mostly, just so many things going on in your head, your body, your physical environment. Even the events in the world seem less important when you pick up your precious package. She's so beautiful and I have started dreaming of holding her. You would think I had held enough of our babies that it might seem "old hat". Not so. Each is just as precious as if it were the only one.
Enjoy and fiercely protect your time with your girl. It flies by mercilessly.
